Securities Operations at Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Securities Operations Representative to join our team. In this role, you will perform various operational tasks on complex securities. Your responsibilities will include supporting securities operations, identifying ways to improve the overall process, and performing moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquiries, and reconciling transactions. You will also review time-sensitive documents, receive direction from a supervisor, and coordinate situations involving other departments. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of securities/Custody/Investment banking experience preferably on Alternative Investment Operations
- Basic understanding of US Securities market
- Understanding of Alternative Investment Operations
- Knowledge of capital markets and various products like mutual funds, bonds, stocks, and equities
- Attention to detail and comprehension skills
- Ability to process Alternative Investment Operations tasks accurately and on a timely basis
- Ability to process all types of Alternative Investment Operations independently
- Ability to follow-up assertively with external parties
- Interaction with market participants like custodian, clearing house, brokers, Investment Managers to gather process/product related information
Work Environment:
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The work schedule for this role is from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST.
