Job Title: Business Finance Manager

Location: Mumbai

 

The Role:

  • Core Business Finance
  • Track monthly entity and business level profitability, build annual operating plans, and create scenario models for in-depth data analysis.
  • Financial Analysis
  • Develop, consolidate, and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis, including annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecast variances.
  • Supportive Projects
  • Participate in ad-hoc special projects such as identifying cost optimization opportunities, conducting business valuations, and assisting with equity fund raises.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Produce presentations, analyses, and supporting materials for key internal stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including functional finance departments and lines of business teams.
  • Model Development
  • Create, maintain, and review financial models and analyses, both recurring and ad-hoc.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and excellent numerical ability.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

 

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.

 

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis/Business Finance.
