Job Description

As a senior design engineer, you will lead the design team in delivering new designs from concept to finished products. You will be responsible for technical expertise and overall quality parameters to avoid rework. You will drive creative thinking and ensure customer needs are considered.

In this role, your responsibilities will include leading complex design projects, preparing new designs from concept to prototypes, and developing team member careers. You will also monitor urgent project delivery and provide technical leadership to train design engineers.

Key areas of focus will include tool trial results and implications, feasibility studies, and design of parts/components welding & machining tools. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve issues and provide solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Sound knowledge of plastic welding machine and jigs/fxture.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and communicate effectively.
  • Expertise in 3D-modeling and 2D-drafting, as well as broad knowledge in engineering basics and GD&T principles.
