Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kafka Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other Kafka ecosystem components.
- Develop and maintain API tests for Kafka-related applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues related to Kafka configuration and performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.
- Experience with testing Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other Kafka ecosystem components.
- API Testing Experience with tools such as Postman/SOAP.
- Agile/JIRA/Confluence expertise and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Strong hands-on SQL and MongoDB skills for data analysis and manipulation.
- Continuous integration and automated testing experience.
- Working knowledge and experience of Git for version control.
Nice to Have
Having experience with X-RAY and Test Automation would be beneficial.
