Job Overview

Role Title: Lead Architect

The Lead Architect is responsible for driving the design process from concept to completion, ensuring seamless integration with stakeholders and delivering high-quality architectural solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project requirements and context, translating client vision into actionable plans.
  • Prepare detailed design briefs that align with project objectives, considering functionality, aesthetics, and efficiency.
  • Propose architectural solutions that meet or exceed client expectations, balancing creative intent with practical realities.
  • Coordinate plan submissions and ensure timely approvals from relevant authorities.
  • Identify and engage external consultants, including primary architects, facility planners, MEP, and HVAC experts.
  • Maintain design integrity throughout project development and execution, fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor selection, contracting, and relationships, ensuring seamless integration of operational needs.
  • Oversee design coordination with operating teams, guaranteeing effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Act as a bridge between creative design intent and practical project delivery, leveraging expertise to drive successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • 4–10 years of professional experience in architecture, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or large-scale developments.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture, demonstrating a strong foundation in design principles and building codes.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and approval processes, with proven ability to lead design development and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating with consultants (structural, MEP, HVAC, etc.) and vendors, showcasing excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong sense of design integrity and ability to translate concepts into executable plans, with experience in hospitality projects highly valued.
