Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of employee compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll software and human resources information systems (HRIS).

About the Job

The Compensation and Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Processing payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Maintaining payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Coordinating with HR for employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
  • Handling payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
  • Preparing payroll reports for internal use and external audits.
  • Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings.
  • Collaborating with Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
  • Assisting with year-end activities such as tax form distribution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing (or as specified).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
