About This Role

This is a senior software engineering position that requires expertise in integration protocols, messaging systems, and cloud-native technologies. You will work with our team to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating various systems and applications using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and App Connect Enterprise (ACE). You will also work with Kafka Confluent and API building, implementing security measures, installing certificates, and configuring databases.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a collaborative, agile environment. Your proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting for automation tasks is essential. Additionally, experience working in cloud-native integration patterns and technologies is highly valued.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ Years of experience with integration protocols such as MQ, File, SOAP, HTTP, TCPIP, and REST.
  • Proficient in creating message flows using IIB/ACE.
  • Experience in developing SOAP web services and REST APIs in IIB/ACE.
  • Hands-on experience with ACE/IIB toolkit and GUI, as well as DataPower GUI for configurations and monitoring.
  • Expertise in implementing security measures, installing certificates, and configuring databases using IIB in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Kafka Confluent and API building.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka Architecture, including producers, consumers, topics, and partitions.
  • Experience in Data Router configurations and working with KSQL for real-time data streaming and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in a Kafka-based platform or environment for data streaming and integration.
  • Solid understanding of modern DevOps tools and engineering practices.
