Role Summary:

We are seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to join our team and help secure cloud-native environments, automate security controls, and integrate security into DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy & Compliance
    • Design and enforce AWS security policies aligned with organizational standards.
    • Conduct AWS service certification checks and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Infrastructure & Pipeline Security
    • Secure IaC templates and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab).
    • Integrate security tools into build pipelines for automated scanning and validation.
    • Maintain secure repositories and implement Policy-as-Code (PaC) frameworks.
  • Automation & Tooling
    • Optimize security pipelines across environments.
    • Utilize Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and security hardening.
    • Leverage Curl and CLI tools for service-level security reviews and testing.
  • Collaboration & Review
    • Partner with DevOps, Cloud Architects, and Engineering teams to embed security into design.
    • Conduct security reviews for new AWS services and configurations.

Requirements:

  • 6-9 years of experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, VPC, GuardDuty, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows and pipeline security (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code security practices.
  • Familiarity with Policy-as-Code tools (OPA, Sentinel) and IaC scanning solutions.
  • Comfort with command-line tools, Curl, and scripting for service validation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with container security (EKS, ECS, Docker).
  • Knowledge of secrets management and key rotation strategies.
  • Exposure to cloud-native security tooling (e.g., Checkov, tfsec, Snyk, AWS Config).
