Power Plant Performance Optimization Lead

Our organization seeks a skilled and experienced leader to spearhead the optimization of power plant performance. This key role involves strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of mechanics to ensure seamless power plant operation, foster a culture of excellence, and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance mechanical systems and processes, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and implement changes that maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design and analysis.
  • Experience with maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
