Our Firmware Validation team is at the forefront of ensuring quality and reliability in our SSD products. As a Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing test plans, designing test cases, and writing scripts to validate firmware for Enterprise and Datacenter class NVMe SSDs.

Firmware Test Engineering

You will demonstrate exceptional skill in understanding one or more areas of FW, such as Front End, Back end, Media management, FTL, or Security. Additionally, you will showcase high competency in comprehending NVMe PCIe specifications, NVMe Cloud SSD Specifications, and customer-specific requirements.

As part of our Firmware Test Engineering team, you will collaborate with Firmware development teams throughout the product lifecycle. You will identify defects, verify fixes through grey and Whitebox tests, and communicate status, issues, concerns, strategies of programs, and projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 11 years of experience in SSD Firmware Validation.
  • Expertise in End-to-End Storage Architecture.
  • Understanding of Whitebox and grey box test methods for Enterprise and Datacenter SSD Firmware is a strong plus.
