Site Reliability Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux and Windows systems, with expertise in setting up alerts, dashboards, and analyzing metrics/logs for system performance and reliability.

About the Role
  • The role involves extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows systems, including system architecture and configuration management tools.
  • You will be proficient in setting up alerts, dashboards, and analyzing metrics/logs for system performance and reliability.
  • Strong incident response and troubleshooting techniques, capable of conducting root cause investigations.
  • Experienced in CI/CD pipelines, proficient in automating tasks for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
  • Familiarity with Devops Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.

Responsibilities:

  1. System Administration: Manage Linux and Windows systems, including system architecture and configuration management tools.
  2. Metrics Analysis: Analyze metrics/logs for system performance and reliability.
  3. Incident Response: Conduct root cause investigations.
  4. CICD Pipelines: Automate tasks for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
  5. DevOps Tools: Use Devops Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Requirements
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
  • Proficient in setting up alerts, dashboards, and analyzing metrics/logs for system performance and reliability.
  • Familiarity with system architecture and configuration management tools.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and Load Balancing protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
