Position Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (ETL)

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data analysis as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Data Unveil. Your primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and executing test cases, evaluating the testing process, and making recommendations when necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test cases to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our testing process and suggest improvements.
  • Execute test cases promptly to meet project deadlines.
  • Identify and record bugs for timely resolution.

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of QA experience in data projects.
  • Experience working with ETL/Data warehouse projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements and create positive/negative test scenarios.
  • Ability to create test files to validate business requirements and metadata layer configurations.
  • Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to address data issues.
  • Experience using Jira to track work assignments.
  • Working experience in Cloud-related projects.
  • Knowledge of AWS/AWS Services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
