Job Description

The Senior Data Specialist plays a pivotal role in the processing of transactions, events, or data within a functional team. Time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks often require interaction with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, complete, and accurate processing of transactions, including relevant controls, within own area of responsibility.
  • Apply internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulators' requirements, as well as agreed SLAs, KRIs, KPIs, and quality measures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with front office clients to provide a point of contact for time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks.
  • Contribute to product/function development to ensure a superior offering in response to changing client needs and market trends.
  • Escalate operational, regulatory, and other risks to line manager and functional leads, contributing to mitigation or control solutions.
  • Work effectively within the team, providing support and guidance to colleagues, fostering continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in one or more technical areas; reconciliations experience is advantageous.
  • Product and system knowledge in the product line.
  • Basic analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal).
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience working with data in a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
