Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Business Intelligence Analysts play a key role in developing and maintaining data infrastructure while delivering insightful analysis.

The position is a hybrid between data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and maintain data collection tools used by all departments.
  2. Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines.
  3. Administrate and optimize the EduFinance SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
  4. Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
  5. Implement and maintain data quality controls.
  6. Manage special data projects as the organization expands.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Undergraduate degree in data science, computer engineering, statistics, or another quantitative field.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL development and database administration (Azure SQL preferred).
  3. Minimum 3 years' experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar tools).
  4. Proficiency with APIs and data integration methods.
  5. Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas, macros a plus).
  6. Expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, dashboard/report design).
  7. Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.

Language Skills:
  • Written and verbal fluency in English required.
