
Senior Legal Business Partner

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility of this position lies in managing administrative matters for client companies. The role requires developing and maintaining relationships with clients, overseeing a team responsible for keeping client files in good legal and financial standing, reviewing corporate agreements, documents, and legal manuals for client companies. Additionally, it involves coordinating and executing legal, administrative, and banking activities for these companies.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare various legal documents for client companies, including directors' and members' resolutions, powers of attorney, principal's indemnity letters, register of members and directors, shares and participation certificates, service agreements, certificates of incumbency, incorporation, liquidation, and other types of legal documents.
- Participate actively in the incorporation and termination processes of companies within specified work flows.
- Provide fee quotations for services to be provided to clients and ensure timely charging of fees through Maconomy.
- Monitor productivity and chargeability on a weekly basis and review performance against targets to ensure individual financial and client targets are met.
- Ensure that any action taken is consistent with the company's activities and purpose within the legal and economic framework.
- Manage companies and maintain accurate information in client files (accuracy of information in CIS and Cabinet, proper descriptions for Cabinet documents).
- Evaluate whether companies are capitalized and management agreements are available in clients' files (if applicable).
- Collaborate with managers to update and maintain the client database, ensuring it remains accurate and up-to-date at all times. Advise managers on complex requests.
- Develop and update legal manuals and procedures and contribute to the development and maintenance of systems.
- Prepare monthly reports for the Management Team; Work on specific projects assigned by the Manager; Offer advice, knowledge, and experience to colleagues (if applicable).
- All other tasks related to the position.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Law or Economics/Qualified Company Secretary
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in legal and corporate/company management services in a law firm, trust, or company management firm.
- Strong commercial mindset, proactive approach, dedication, focus, revenue, and target-driven.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong client-facing skills with well-developed spoken and written communication skills and ability to tailor style to relevant audiences and effectively liaise with people at different levels.
- Excellent English language fluency, additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, detail-oriented, with good decision-making and time-management skills.
- Independent, hands-on, accountable for delivering solutions and results.
- Ability to adapt and work in a smaller, dynamic local team environment as well as part of a bigger matrix organization.
- Proven leadership and team player skills with ambition to excel in the role.
