Labor Relations Specialist

As a Labor Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering positive labor relations and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position is ideal for an individual with expertise in industrial relations and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Labor Law Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, factory rules, and statutory obligations while managing interactions with labor departments and regulatory bodies.
- Union Engagement: Identify social trends, legal issues, and union demands to support negotiations and maintain effective relationships with employee representatives and authorities.
- HR Process Support: Implement and optimize labor law and HR processes that align with business goals, supporting managers and employees in policy execution and compliance.
- Community Relations: Coordinate local community programs and establish meaningful connections to encourage employee development and uphold Corporate Social Responsibility commitments.
Successful candidates should possess:
- Master's degree in social work (MSW) or MBA in Human Resources/Industrial Relations.
- 6-8 years of experience in labor or industrial relations within a manufacturing or unionized environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance requirements, and industrial dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Strong communication skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities to manage labor-related matters efficiently.
