About the Job

We seek an experienced Digital Banking Quality Engineer with a strong background in Software Testing Concepts, STLC, and SDLC processes, ideally in the financial domain.

This role is ideal for individuals excited about learning new methodologies, expanding their knowledge base, and making a solid foundation for their career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate test execution activities based on defined test strategies and plans.
  • Review change requests and analysis updates to assess their impact on test plans and schedules.
  • Monitor daily test progress, environment readiness, and execution blockers; escalate issues proactively.
  • Support test execution, including system integration testing, functional testing, regression, and UAT phases.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless test operations.
  • Own and approve the UAT kickoff by ensuring test readiness, environment stability, defect resolution, and scope completeness.
  • Guide customer-facing UAT sessions: coordinate execution, capture business feedback, and follow up on observations and open issues.
  • Maintain traceability and visibility of test coverage and progress using test management tools.
  • Ensure test script repositories are organized and up to date.
  • Track and report objective quality metrics, including defect trends, coverage, and readiness indicators.
Requirements:
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Shift-Left approach.
  • Proven experience in coordinating test execution activities within complex projects, especially in the financial domain.
  • Hands-on experience with test case preparation, test case execution, and quality reporting.
  • Experience with test planning and strategy development, especially in coordination with QA Leads or domain owners.
  • Proficiency in using test management tools and defect tracking systems.
