
Key Team Member: Guest Room Experience Specialist

Room quality and guest satisfaction are top priorities for our Housekeeping team.
As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
This includes running sold room reports, verifying room status, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing room cleaning tasks, and updating the status of departing guest rooms.
You will also assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, coordinate efforts with other departments such as Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry, and document any issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
Additionally, you will prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff, monitor and update lists of Do Not Disturb rooms, ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned promptly, assign rush rooms, and complete required Housekeeping paperwork.
Apart from these responsibilities, you will be expected to follow all company and safety policies and procedures, report any maintenance problems or accidents, complete necessary training and certifications, and adhere to quality expectations and standards.
Communication is key in this role. You will need to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, thank them with genuine appreciation, and develop positive working relationships with colleagues to reach common goals.
Success in this position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
