About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of sports and American culture, and the ability to deliver high-quality content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish daily articles, maintaining high-quality content that meets our standards.
  • Fact-check, research, and deliver value to our readers through every article.
  • Understand audience needs to fine-tune content impact and relevance.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and content managers to refine and elevate published content.
  • Mentor writers to grow and evolve as contributors.
  • Stay on top of breaking news to ensure timely updates for our readers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Media/ Journalism, or similar discipline.
  • 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or any other similar role.
  • Strong command of the English language and understanding of American culture.
  • Leadership skills to inspire, guide, and mentor writers.
  • Passion for sports, covering breaking news, live events, and in-depth analyses.
