Job Title

We are seeking a talented Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and publishing articles on various sports topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Editing and publishing 20-25 articles daily
  • Fact-checking and researching each article
  • Enhancing the impact and relevance of published content
  • Collaborating with writers, editors, and content managers in a fast-paced newsroom
  • Mentoring junior writers and contributing to their growth and development
  • Staying up-to-date with breaking news and current events
  • Meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or similar field
  2. 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing, proofreading, or a related role
  3. Strong command of the English language and an understanding of American culture
  4. Excellent writing and analytical skills
  5. Basic knowledge of SEO principles and techniques
  6. Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team
