As a Technical Solutions Strategist at Wipro Limited, you will be responsible for creating exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership. This role enables delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

About the Role

This position involves developing architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests in existing deals. You will create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable. Additionally, you will provide solutioning of RFPs received from clients and ensure overall design assurance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions, including systems, shared infrastructure services, and applications, to better match business outcome objectives.
  • Analysing technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework/architecture.
  • Providing technical leadership to the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of modern technology.
  • Defining and understanding current state solutions and identifying improvements, options, and tradeoffs to define target state solutions.
  • Clearly articulating, documenting, and selling architectural targets, recommendations, and reusable patterns, and proposing investment roadmaps.
  • Evaluating and recommending solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem.
  • Working closely with various IT groups to transition tasks, ensuring performance, and managing issues through to resolution.
  • Performing detailed documentation of the architectural design and solution, mentioning all artefacts in detail.
  • Validating the solution/prototype from technology, cost structure, and customer differentiation points of view.
  • Identifying problem areas and performing root cause analysis of architectural design and solutions, providing relevant solutions to the problem.
  • Collaborating with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture.
Key Responsibilities

You will also be responsible for:

  • Enabling delivery teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor.
  • Developing and establishing relevant technical, business process, and overall support metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results.
  • Managing multiple projects and accurately reporting the status of all major assignments while adhering to all project management standards.
  • Identifying technical, process, structural risks and preparing a risk mitigation plan for all projects.
  • Ensuring quality assurance of all architecture or design decisions and providing technical mitigation support to delivery teams.
  • Recommending tools for reuse, automation for improved productivity, and reduced cycle times.
  • Leading the development and maintenance of enterprise frameworks and related artefacts.
  • Developing trust and building effective working relationships through respectful, collaborative engagement across individual product teams.
  • Ensuring architecture principles and standards are consistently applied to all projects.
  • Ensuring optimal Client Engagement.
  • SUPPORTING pre-sales team while presenting the entire solution design and its principles to the client.
  • Negotiating, managing, and coordinating with client teams to ensure all requirements are met and create an impact of the solution proposed.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of the client to win confidence and act as a trusted advisor.
Competency Building and Branding

You will also focus on:

  • Ensuring completion of necessary trainings and certifications.
  • Developing Proof of Concepts (POCs), case studies, demos, etc., for new growth areas based on market and customer research.
  • Developing and presenting a point of view of Wipro on solution design and architect by writing white papers, blogs, etc.
  • Attaining market referencability and recognition through highest analyst rankings, client testimonials, and partner credits.
  • Being the voice of Wipro's Thought Leadership by speaking in forums (internal and external).
  • Mentoring developers, designers, and Junior architects in the project for their further career development and enhancement.
  • Contributing to the architecture practice by conducting selection interviews, etc.
Team Management

You will also be responsible for:

  • Anticipating new talent requirements as per the market/industry trends or client requirements.
  • Hiring adequate and right resources for the team.
Talent Management

You will also focus on:

  • Ensuring adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability & effectiveness.
  • Building an internal talent pool and ensuring their career progression within the organization.
  • Managing team attrition.
  • Driving diversity in leadership positions.
Performance Management

You will also be responsible for:

  • Setting goals for the team, conducting timely performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback to own direct reports.
  • Ensuring that the Performance Nxt is followed for the entire team.
Employee Satisfaction and Engagement

You will also focus on:

  • Leading and driving engagement initiatives for the team.
  • Tracking team satisfaction scores and identifying initiatives to build engagement within the team.
