Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced database security solutions using Imperva technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and deploy Imperva Database Security solutions to meet the needs of enterprise clients.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Implement overnight system changes and updates to support teams in different time zones.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to firewalls, network connectivity, and server performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Update runbooks, documentation, and tooling to enhance incident response and operational readiness.
  • Support post-incident reviews and ensure that lessons learned are documented and applied.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of alerting systems and operational workflows.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Imperva Database Security is required.
  • Strong background in Linux, System Administration, OS/Server Administration, and Firewall troubleshooting.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently during non-standard hours and collaborate with team members as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.

Additional Information:

Applicants should have a strong understanding of database security principles and technologies. Experience working with Linux environments and scripting languages is highly desirable.
