About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our project operations, spearheading Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning initiatives. This exciting opportunity requires driving data-driven decision-making and ensuring the robustness of qualitative and quantitative research processes.

The role necessitates collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and participating in technical discussions to define research objectives and methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative studies.

  • Skill Set & Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you must possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning. You should be adept at proposal development, capacity building, tool development, implementation, data management, and analysis.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project operations, preferably in the context of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Tech Engagement & Research Design:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives and methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative studies.

Indicator Identification & Evaluation:

Lead the process of identifying, evaluating, and finalizing key performance indicators and research objectives aligned with project goals.

Proposal Development:

Develop comprehensive proposals for Monitoring & Evaluation, Impact Assessment, and Need Assessment studies.

Capacity Building:

Train and develop data collection teams on methodologies, tools, and ethical guidelines.

Tool Development & Digitalization:

Translate, finalize skip patterns, validate checks, and convert paper-based questionnaires into digital formats.

Implementation & Execution:

Drive the execution of MEL activities as per project requirements.

Data Management & Analysis:

Supervise data review processes, including cleaning, validation, and analysis.

Reporting:

Prepare high-quality reports translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Consultant & Stakeholder Management:

Foster collaboration, performance tracking, and alignment with project objectives while managing external consultants and internal teams.
