Job Title: Cash Flow Manager
A cash flow manager oversees the accounts receivable process within an organization to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts from customers or clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop effective strategies for collecting outstanding debts.
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and determine necessary actions.
- Communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve issues or disputes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities, including customer interactions and payment arrangements.
- Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports on collections status.
- Implement credit policies to minimize risk of late payments or non-payment.
- Collaborate with legal counsel or external agencies to handle complex cases.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be a certified accountant (CA) or certified secretary (CS).
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. A master's degree may be preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly as they relate to accounts receivable and collections.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to assess data and trends.
- Familiarity with collection software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of laws governing debt collection practices.
