Jira Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Jira administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and configuring Jira Data Center and Cloud instances, as well as designing and optimizing workflows to enhance system usability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Jira and its various features, including project setup, workflows, permissions, and user access. They will also have experience with automation tools such as Script Runner Groovy and JIRA Automation Rules, and be able to develop custom reports and dashboards for improved project tracking and data visualization.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. They will also have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in supporting Jira administration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure Jira Data Center and Cloud instances
  • Design and optimize Jira workflows

Requirements:
