Reports To : Jira Administrator will report to Line Manager.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence across multiple business units and verticals. This role involves end-to-end administration, workflow customization, integrations via REST APIs, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities : & Configuration :

- Manage Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence instances, including user management, permissions, and project configurations.

- Design and customize workflows, automation rules, screens, fields, and dashboards to meet business requirements.

- Maintain schemes (permission, notification, issue security, etc.) for different business units.

Integration & Automation :

- Implement and manage API integrations with external tools (CRM, DevOps, ITSM, reporting systems).

- Configure and maintain marketplace apps/plugins to extend Jira and Confluence functionality.

- Develop scripts and automation using tools like Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner, or custom APIs.

Multi-Business Support :

- Provide Jira solutions across multiple business verticals, balancing different workflows and governance requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Jira/Confluence solutions.

Maintenance & Governance :

- Perform regular instance audits, cleanup, and upgrades.

- Ensure adherence to best practices and governance for Jira and Confluence usage across teams.

- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, including escalations from service desks.

Reporting & Analytics :

- Create custom reports and dashboards for project tracking, SLAs, and KPIs.

- Work with business teams to provide analytics for leadership and management reviews.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies :

- Any Graduate.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Jira Software, JSM, and Confluence in enterprise environments.

- Strong understanding of Jira configurations : workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions.

- Experience with API integrations (REST, webhooks) and automation.

- Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps like ScriptRunner, Insight/Assets, and Tempo.

- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes (incident, change, problem management) in Jira Service Management.

- Basic understanding of SQL and scripting (Groovy, Python, or similar) is a plus.

- Experience supporting multiple business units and managing complex instances.

- Atlassian certifications (ACP-100/ACP-400) preferred.
