Senior Software Test Manager

This role oversees the management of senior stakeholders and identifying business opportunities in software testing. It involves establishing a vision for testing, defining standards, and implementing processes to drive consistency and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has experience as a Senior Test Lead or similar role, with expertise in automation tools, frameworks, and test data management. They should have excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

The role requires the ability to develop test strategies, plans, and cases in collaboration with project teams. The candidate must also be able to monitor and analyze test results, identify trends, and propose corrective actions to continuously improve quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders to understand their business objectives, requirements, and expectations.
  • Establishing and coaching testing standards to be followed for implementation programs and driving stakeholder acceptance.
  • Communicating effectively to align testing initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations to senior stakeholders on test strategies, progress, and quality metrics.
  • Identifying and analyzing business opportunities in software testing, including emerging trends, industry advancements, and potential areas of improvement.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about testing practices and industry benchmarks.
  • Developing strategies to leverage testing capabilities as a competitive advantage and drive revenue growth.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Test Lead or similar role, with a focus on managing senior stakeholders and identifying business opportunities in software testing.
  • Experience in end-to-end management of at least a couple of automation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
