Faculty Position in Anatomy Department
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professor to lead our Anatomy Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and clinical skills training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic & Teaching:
  • Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
  • Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
  • Develop innovative teaching methodologies including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
  • Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per NMC guidelines.
  • Research & Publications:
  • Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
  • Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.
  • Clinical Skills & Simulation:
  • Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
  • Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.
  • Promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.


The successful candidate will have an MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification, 8+ years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms, and strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals. Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies is preferred. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, strong leadership and mentoring abilities, research aptitude with ability to secure grants and publish, commitment to academic excellence, student development, and ethical practices, and a collaborative mindset for interdepartmental teaching and research.
