Job Title:

As a Mass Retail Distribution Head, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing the circle mass distribution strategy in consultation with the Sales Head. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) include driving profitability of the distribution channel.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide inputs to the overall circle sales strategy to drive business growth.
  • Set targets for the Distribution channel covering both business and distribution metrics (Gross, Revenue, etc).
  • Develop channel expansion strategy by evaluating distribution coverage, penetration, and performance.

Operational Objectives:

  • Achieve circle revenue target for the distribution channel for all products across brands.
  • Expand the distribution network by appointing and monitoring partners in new and existing areas.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Head to develop incentive plans for channel partners and monitor their effectiveness.

Developmental Objectives:

  • Identify development areas and recommend training programs or interventions for the distribution workforce.
  • Work with the Sales team to develop training programs for internal sales teams and distributors on new products and initiatives.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in distribution, preferably in Telecom, FMCG, or Mass Retail Distribution industry.
  • Leadership experience in multi-geography teams to bring in best practices.
  • Experience in distribution planning and channel strategy implementation.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Influencing skills, analytical ability, effective relationship management skills, and proven ability to work within a matrix organization.
