We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in ensuring accurate financial management across various functions.

The Accounting Department is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including customer payments, cost and margin analysis, vendor setup and maintenance, expenses payable, invoice processing, and capital assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger to ensure accurate reporting of P&L and Balance Sheet balances.
  • Process invoices in a timely manner while validating and correcting discrepancies in inventory.
  • Support month-end close processes by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function and implement new processes or systems that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in retail accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as Open Text, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Mainframe, POS Systems, and MS Excel.
