The Permitting Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the entire permitting process, ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining regulatory compliance and client satisfaction.

This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive permitting strategy that aligns with business goals, setting clear objectives and performance metrics for the permitting team. The successful candidate will have experience in US mainland telecommunications market, navigating complex federal, state, and local permitting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive permitting strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • US Telecom Permitting Expertise: Leverage experience in US mainland telecommunications market to navigate complex federal, state, and local permitting requirements.
  • Permit Acquisition: Lead the identification, preparation, submission, and acquisition of necessary permits from local, state, and federal authorities.
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire permitting lifecycle, ensuring all project requirements are met on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, zoning codes, environmental standards, and permitting requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of permits, approvals, correspondence, and project documentation.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential permitting challenges and develop proactive solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously enhance permitting processes, adopting industry best practices and digital tools.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and guide permitting team members, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
