Role Overview

Maintaining the day-to-day operations of EBS data and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify solutions in problem areas is a key part of this role.

  • Familiarity with index concepts and their calculations is essential for success.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data received from various sources through validation is crucial.
  • Storing information in databases and ensuring it is accurately reflected on products involves creating or running data quality checks and standards.
  • Producing high-quality financial information in a timely manner for respective products is vital.
  • Providing support to stakeholders and responding to data queries from both internal and external clients is essential.
  • Anticipating changes by monitoring and researching market events is an important aspect of this role.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide root cause analysis and identify solutions in problem areas is necessary.
  • Consolidating information around the dataset to establish best practices is also required.
Requirements
  • Possessing an MBA (Finance) or postgraduate degree in finance or an equivalent field is preferred.
  • A good understanding of equities and capital markets is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Index/ETF and corporate actions is highly valued.
  • 0-2 years of business operations experience is ideal.
