Geotechnical Engineering Programmer Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of engineering applications and digital workflows.

  • Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize engineering applications and digital workflows.
  • Utilize Grasshopper and Dynamo for parametric modeling and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to assess software needs and enhance existing processes.
  • Integrate and manage data within Civil 3D and Revit to support efficient project delivery.
  • Analyze GIS data and develop custom tools and solutions to improve data management and project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement scripts and tools using Python, C#, and C++ to automate civil engineering tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in programming, specifically in civil engineering applications, is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of core civil engineering principles and design workflows is expected.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop efficient, practical solutions is essential.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and its API is also required.
  • Experience with C# and C++ is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Grasshopper and Dynamo is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Revit and GIS applications is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages or platforms relevant to civil engineering and infrastructure development is desirable.
