Job Title: QA/QC Coating and Painting Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and quality control of all coating and painting activities on site. Ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and verify surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Monitor and report on the quality of work, identifying and rectifying any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with project management teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform piping and fabrication inspections as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in QA/QC, with a focus on coating and painting in the construction industry.
  • Strong experience with piping and fabrication work.
  • Hold mandatory BGAS and NACE certifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to coating and painting in construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
