Construction Quality Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Quality Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in inspection and testing for various types of construction projects, including mechanical and civil work. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.

The Construction Quality Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and testing construction materials and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  • Carrying out technical surveillance audits and preparing timely reports on the results.
  • Ensuring the availability of latest revisions of documents, including ITP procedures, formats, checklists, etc.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A graduate degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering or architecture.
  • At least 1-7 years of experience in QA/QC functions, preferably in refinery, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects.
  • Necessary qualifications include graduation as an engineer, with a minimum of 1-7 years of experience in QA/QC functions or diploma engineer with a minimum of 7-14 years of experience in QA/QC functions.
  • Desirable qualifications include NDT Level II certification in RT, UT, PT, MT, VT, and Mech.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge of:

  • Welding symbols, processes, defects, consumable classifications, and applicable codes.
  • Measurement instruments needed for various types of inspections.
  • Warehouse inspection systems and methods of welding inspection.
  • Testing for wrapping, coating, and painting processes.
  • Pressure testing and post-weld heat treatment requirements.
  • Civil construction practices, fireproofing, insulation, refractory, batching plant operation activities, and testing methods as per applicable testing codes.
  • Various types of testing in civil jobs covering cube, water, cement, sand, and aggregates.
