Senior IT Manager

Job Description:

The Senior IT Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of technology infrastructure. This role plays a crucial part in advancing our mission by providing innovative and secure solutions.

Key responsibilities include authorizing and overseeing hardware and software deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support based on Innovation and IT strategy. The successful candidate will develop configuration and monitoring standards for network performance, implement and monitor controls to ensure these standards are maintained, and evaluate business needs and objectives to research necessary applications to meet IE Network needs.

This individual will analyze complex Innovation and IT business needs presented by users and customers and recommend technical solutions. They will also develop plans for implementing new projects, coordinating process deliverables with project leaders and stakeholders, and design, configure, and optimize hardware, operating systems, networks, storage, and backup devices for reliability, availability, and performance in a physical or virtual environment.

Additional responsibilities include designing, configuring, and managing Active Directory and Citrix, supervising the implementation of management tools including monitoring, security, backup tools, and diagnosing and resolving issues related to application delivery via Citrix and AWS.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
  • 12-15 years of experience managing and directing enterprise IT operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet software
  • Familiarity with PACS/Clinical imaging experience and HIPAA/GDPR compliance preferred

Leadership skills, quality management, ethics, strategic thinking, organizational support, oral/written communication skills, cost consciousness, innovation, adaptability, and a service-oriented approach are essential qualities for this role. Self-driven individuals who can grasp new concepts quickly and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc. are highly sought after.
