As a senior technical expert, the lead engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring delivery excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead data migration projects in cloud-based technologies such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Synapse, and other related platforms.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ADF pipelines, Databricks notebooks, and SQL queries as a high-level engineer or developer.
  • Provide coaching, training, and oversight to technical support staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Act as a single point of contact for stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), manage shift rosters, and handle onsite-offshore model support to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Onboard new team members and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring issues to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, management, and clients to deliver projects that meet industry standards.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective support, critical incident management, and problem management notifications.

Technical Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Python, Databricks, and ADB Notebooks is required.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of batch processes are essential skills for this role.
  • Familiarity with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, SSIS, SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux commands is an advantage.
