The role of Senior Technical Expert requires a hands-on development specialist to work closely with the Business Product Owner and Lead Software Development to deliver high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and performing software applications.

This technical expert will be responsible for coding/configuration changes independently and possess good communication skills and a strong positive outlook. They should have a strong technical background in Java Microservices, which is mandatory. Reporting experience and cloud knowledge would be added advantages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test IC code
  • Participate in hands-on code commits and configuration
  • System integration testing of developed software
  • Review code of other team members
  • Communicate issues and risks to leads in a timely manner
  • Analyze software defects and resolve them in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in technology
  • Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience
  • Proficient in Core Java, Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot
  • Experience of Micro-Services & security configuration
  • Experience with JPA/Hibernate
  • Exposure to Cloud / Big Data technology
  • HDFS knowledge regarding storage, performance
  • Hive, Impala working knowledge
  • Hands-on experience on Oracle SQL/PL SQL
  • CI/CD (Team City or Jenkins)
  • Github usage
  • Basic Commands on UNIX
  • Worked in Agile/Scrum software development environment
Nice to Have:
  • Python/Spark/Livy knowledge with cloud as added advantage
  • Familiarity to Jira
  • Good to have SAFe Agile knowledge (ART) or experience
  • Added advantage if handled team as a Scrum Master
