Software Development Position

Job Overview:

Experience and skills in developing, modifying, and troubleshooting software applications on the IBM AS400 iSeries platform are required for this position. The successful candidate will have expertise in RPGLE programming, Integrated Language Environment (ILE), and creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications using SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Implement Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript where applicable.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and create design documents.
  • Mentor junior developers and ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming.
  • Expertise in Integrated Language Environment (ILE).
  • Ability to create and debug RPG/CL programs.
  • Knowledge of SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files.
  • Experience with iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Familiarity with Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.
