Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Investment Banking Specialist. As part of this role, you will be working closely with our client partners to improve processes and controls that drive business growth.

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and capture data from various global functional teams across our clients, utilizing your in-depth functional knowledge of the process area to provide effective solutions.

You will also be responsible for identifying discrepancies and proposing optimal solutions using logical, systematic, and sequential methodologies. Additionally, you will need to lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objectives while being self-directed, proactive, and results-driven.

The ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen with a focus on capital markets and derivatives, along with excellent numerical skills and the ability to derive information from data. You should also be proficient in PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel, with the ability to build domain expertise and lead from the front.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle clients and client calls to establish yourself as a valued partner.
  • Escalate issues to client and internal managers to bring attention to them in a timely manner.
  • Build domain expertise and lead from the front.
  • Contribute to knowledge management by sharing process knowledge and best practices within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration.

Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in handling teams, preferably in investment banking operations.

Skills: Conceptualization, design, and delivery of high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects ranging in complexity and scope.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage and complete specific tasks with minimal direction.
  • Able to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations.
  • Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills, and stay relevant to business demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to network and earn confidence of diverse Client personnel.
