Senior Data Engineer Position

The role of Senior Data Engineer is a high-level position within our organization.

Key responsibilities for this role include leading data engineering initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, and ensuring the effective design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in data pipeline, ETL, and workflow management tools, including Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Scala.
  • Experience with database management, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with best practices in UX/UI design and development of Business Intelligence data visualization/exploration tools.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies, as well as DevOps tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
