Key Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing and verifying purchase and sales bills, matching with POs, invoices, and supplementary bills. They will also be in charge of cash control, voucher preparation, daily transaction entries in accounting books/ERP, creditors management, vendor payments via NEFT/RTGS, handling LC documentation, and liaising with bankers for daily operations.

Statutory Compliance Duties:

  • Income Tax: The candidate will compute and pay TDS, e-file returns, issue Form 16/16A, calculate advance tax, and file ITR.
  • GST: Registration, amendments, challan generation, filing of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, refunds, audits, and E-Way bills.
  • PF & ESI: Monthly contributions, UAN generation, transfers/withdrawals, employee registration under PF/ESI.
  • Legacy Compliances: VAT/CST, Excise Duty – filing, reconciliations, and audit support.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.Com (Accounting/Finance) degree as minimum qualification.
  • Preferrably M.Com or specialization in Finance/Accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple statutory timelines.
