We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Architect. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and Develop Data Systems: Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures to support business needs.
  2. Develop Data Pipelines: Build and maintain complex data pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  3. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner.
  4. Work with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
  5. Document Data Systems: Document data systems and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer.
Required Skills
  • Cloud Technologies: Good understanding of cloud technologies (AWS preferred) with experience in services like Aurora/RDS, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, EMR, Step Functions, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch, etc.
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Glue, Python, EMR/Spark and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Database Design: Extensive experience with relational database design and development with a preference for Aurora Postgres.
  • SQL Queries: Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
