We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to head up our financial planning and analysis efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing the financial planning process, analyzing financial data, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and economics, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field, along with CA qualification, is mandatory. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

The selected candidate will be expected to manage a team of at least 5-10 employees, lead and mentor finance professionals, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, overseeing, and enforcing the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Analyzing financial data, trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Collaborating with department heads to create departmental budgets and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals
  • Evaluating financial performance against budget and providing variance analysis
  • Familiarity with taxation is desirable
  • Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders, including management, board of directors, and external parties
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  • Overseeing internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Coordinating and managing external audits and examinations

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to lead and develop a team. They will also possess strategic thinking and business acumen, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
