Food Technology Innovation Position

EasyBuy Ingredients is a pioneering online platform dedicated to simplifying food ingredient sourcing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
We are revolutionizing the industry by providing an intuitive experience, ensuring quality assurance, timely delivery, and tailored application development services to SMEs.
The current system of sourcing specialty food ingredients is plagued by complexities, inefficiencies, and reliability issues. It involves difficulty in obtaining samples, high-touch interactions with distributors, limited availability at lower Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), unreliable inventory management, non-assured deliveries, and opaque pricing. We aim to address these challenges by offering one-click certified quality food ingredients, enabling efficient, reliable, and cost-effective sourcing for SMEs.
Our team consists of award-winning professionals from top-tier institutions such as IITians, BITSians, University of Cambridge, University of Helsinki, London Business School, and Imperial College London. We were recognized as the top venture in Asia Pacific in 2018 by Mckinsey and INSEAD Business School.
We are seeking four interns to join our team for a 3-6 month period. They will be involved in various aspects of scaling the EasyBuy platform, including Technical Sales (Food Ingredients), Marketing (Content Development), and Ecommerce Operations, depending on their fit and the business's needs.
The candidates will need to be flexible during the internship period but will be assigned a specialized role with a clear Job Description aligned with their skills and performance upon completion of the internship.
Successful performers will be offered full-time positions after three months. In our previous cohort, all four interns were hired full-time, making this internship a pathway to identifying high-potential hires who will become integral members of our core execution team.
The ideal candidate should have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, with the ability to understand the nuances of specialty ingredients like Enzymes, Yeasts, and Proteins.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Strong work ethics with a bias for action.
Additionally, having technical content writing skills, prior sales experience, design skills, knowledge of specialty food ingredients and food processing technologies, and digital marketing exposure will be a significant advantage.
This role is based in Lucknow, and there may be opportunities for relocation to a Tier 1 city in the future as the company evolves.
We welcome freshers and students in their final semester who will be available to join full-time within six months post-graduation.
We offer:
1. Competitive compensation: During the internship, you will receive a stipend of 15,000 Rs per month. If extended a full-time offer, you can expect a basic salary of 3.5-LPA + Performance Linked Compensation, with excellent financial growth opportunities for top performers.
