Job Description

As a Product Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and product development within our organization.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of new products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.

You will apply your knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, materials science, and processing to design innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work on projects from concept to commercialization, developing your skills in project management, technical specification writing, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience in test method development
  • Statistics and Minitab
  • Understanding of Mechanical engineering concepts/first principles
  • Knowledge of material sciences and processing Metals, Polymers, Plastics
  • Ability to apply knowledge of materials and processes to design
  • Setting technical specifications/design requirements
  • Project management with proficiency in MS projects or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of ANSYS or any other analysis software tool
  • Working understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA etc
