Junior Therapy Professional Job Description

As a Junior Therapy professional, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their physical rehabilitation and recovery.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Therapy professional. In this role, you will work closely with senior physiotherapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, utilizing various therapeutic interventions and techniques to improve their physical functioning and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate their physical conditions, range of motion, strength, and functional abilities
  • Collaborate with senior physiotherapists to develop and implement treatment plans, setting specific goals and objectives for patients' rehabilitation
  • Administer therapeutic interventions, exercises, and techniques to improve patients' physical functioning and reduce pain
  • Recommend and demonstrate the use of assistive devices to improve patients' mobility and independence
  • Provide education to patients and their caregivers on proper exercise techniques, self-management strategies, and preventive measures to support their recovery and well-being
  • Regularly assess and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting the treatment plan as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a physiotherapist (PT) or equivalent
  • Experience working with patients with various physical conditions and injuries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with relevant healthcare guidelines and regulations
