Job Description

As an Energy Storage Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support during the commissioning phase of energy storage projects.

  • Orientate yourself with the project scope, timelines, and client requirements to guarantee a seamless commissioning process.
  • Maintain open communication channels with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure all parties are aligned and aware of any challenges or deviations.
  • Develop and implement detailed commissioning schedules in collaboration with overseas colleagues from Trina Storage.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports highlighting progress, identifying areas of improvement, and escalating critical issues to management.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Commission Energy Storage systems ensuring compliance with Trina Storage standards.
  2. Perform pre- and post-commissioning tests, and performance verification as required.
  3. Manage spare parts inventory, maintaining accurate records and documenting transactions.
  4. Ensure the safekeeping of tools and equipment.
  5. Supervise and assign tasks to third-party service partner technicians, monitoring work quality and reporting to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of technical experience in electrical projects, preferably substations, power lines, or LV/MV cables.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A strong understanding of Battery Energy Storage System PCS and related components.
  • Solid experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
