Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead market research and competitive intelligence in the chemicals/materials industry.

This position requires a strategic thinker with expertise in primary research, including telephonic and face-to-face interactions, as well as secondary research.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical research skills and excellent communication skills, with proficiency in written and verbal English.

Furthermore, the successful applicant should have strong presentation skills, flexibility to work in different time shifts, and the ability to identify and develop the right set of respondents for primary research.

Lastly, a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is mandatory; an MBA is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive intelligence within the chemicals/materials industry
  • Develop and execute primary research strategies, including telephonic and face-to-face interactions
  • Analyze and synthesize secondary research findings to inform business decisions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and respondents
  • Present research findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant parties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market research and competitive intelligence
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality research findings and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
