Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Senior Research Scientist, where you will play a key role in designing and conducting research on compounds, drug agents, and metabolites. Your expertise in physicochemical approaches and pharmacokinetics will enable you to compile data and establish pharmacokinetic profiles of new chemical and molecular entities.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing protocols, preparing study documentation, and analyzing findings to support submissions of new drugs. You will also work closely with toxicology teams to document drug exposure in safety studies and conduct bioanalytical research on drug agents and metabolites.

Additionally, you will serve as a liaison with marketing teams, conducting analytical and kinetic studies on new dosage regimens and/or new dosage forms.

At the Associate Director level, you will provide strategic leadership on drug discovery and early development projects, while at the Senior Principal Scientist level, you will establish and lead novel projects in emerging areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • P&L or Unit Accountability: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Collaborating across boundaries: Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • People Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding teams.
  • Chemistry and Clinical Pharmacology: Expertise in the design, synthesis, and analysis of chemical compounds, as well as their pharmacokinetic properties.

Develops innovative research, technology, and/or early development projects with team, and/or enables internal multi-disciplinary teams to progress assets through the Division pipeline.
